Short Short Films

Usually no budget, often the most creative.

Here’s a selection of shorts I have made with the director Hania Pikulska as we practice non-stop in the roles we are committed to.

Some are just exercises, some have got into multiple BAFTA-Qualifying Festivals (Duck, Actually). Some may look like they were made for £20, because they were, but that doesn’t stop us from trying to tell the story as best as possible no matter what.

Duck, Actually

Gaz and Katie have been dating for a few weeks now. Moonlit pond, flowers in hand, he is ready to take it to the next step... but why is Katie so nervous?

Baby Reindeer Monologue

Our reinterpretation of the monologue from episode 1 of the Netflix show. Taking place in an empty comedy club with the character definitively out of the spotlight, we tried creating as dense and creepy of an atmosphere as possible with a simple location, performance, lighting and sound design to ask what kind of person embraces having a stalker.

Starring - Sarah Lamesh

Director - Hania Pikulska

Cinematographer - Ben Holt

Sound Designer, Editor - Isabel Derr

Composer - Aleksander Pankowski
